Remix Contest Rules

Track: Push Me Into The Dancefloor by OBY ONE

1. Organization

The contest is organized in collaboration with:

• Tikal Sound Records
• Olstad Sound
• OBY ONE
• OQP Crew
  

Objective: to promote musical creativity, offering visibility and publishing opportunities to producers in the tekno scene.

2. Track and Provide Material

The contest is based on the track “Push Me Into The Dancefloor” by OBY ONE.

Participants will receive a Remix Pack containing:

• Separate audio stems (kick, bass, synth, FX, vocals)
  
• Original track 160 BPM
  
• Official banner and text to use for SoundCloud

3. Accepted Genres

The contest is open to all variations of tekno culture:

• Tekno
  
• Hard Tekno
  
• Tekno Tribe
  
• Pumping Tribe
  
• Mental Tekno
  

4. Participation Rules

• Each participant may submit a maximum of 1 remix.
  
• Recommended duration: 5–6 minutes.
  
• Delivery format (via SoundCloud link): WAV 44.1 kHz, 16/24 bit.
  
• Original sounds may be added, but recognizable elements of the original track must remain.
  
• All participants may publish their remix on SoundCloud, provided they:
  
  • Use the official text
    
  • Use the official banner as the track image

5. Submission Method

Submit your remix via the form at: www.olstadsound.com

6. Remix Publication

All remixes may be published on the respective artists’ pages starting from: 10/11/2025

7. Jury and Selection

A jury composed of members of Tikal Sound Records, Olstad Sound, and OBY ONE will evaluate the remixes based on:

• Originality and creativity
  
• Production and mix quality
  
• Connection to the spirit of the track
  

There will also be a Special Audience Award, determined by the number of likes received on the artists’ respective SoundCloud pages.

8. Prizes & Incentives

Winner 1

• Release of a new track on vinyl with Tikal Sound Records (if deemed suitable by the jury and upon rights agreement).
  
• Publication on the SoundCloud pages of Tikal Sound Records and OBY ONE.
  
• Social media and newsletter promotion through OBY ONE and Tikal Sound Records channels.
  
• Possibility of future collaborations with OBY ONE and Tikal Records.
  
• Featured on a dedicated page of www.olstadsound.com
  

Winner 2

• Repost on the SoundCloud pages of Tikal Sound Records and OBY ONE.
  
• Social media and newsletter promotion through OBY ONE and Tikal Records.
  
• Featured on a dedicated page of www.olstadsound.com
  

Audience Award

Awarded to the remix receiving the most likes on the artists’ SoundCloud pages.

• Prizes:
  
  • Special shout-out on the socials of Tikal Sound Records and OBY ONE
    
  • Repost of the track on the SoundCloud accounts of Tikal Sound Records and OBY ONE
    
  • Featured on a dedicated page of www.olstadsound.com
    

Special Mention
All submitted remixes published on the artists’ SoundCloud pages will also be collected and featured on a dedicated page at www.olstadsound.com

9. Intellectual Property

All remixes remain the property of their respective authors.

By participating, the artist grants OBY ONE, Tikal Sound Records, and Olstad Sound the non-exclusive right to publish, promote, and distribute the submitted remixes as part of the contest.

10. Timeline

• October 10, 2025 → Contest opens + Remix Pack release
  
• November 20, 2025 → Remix submission deadline
  
• December 1, 2025 → Winners announced
  
• December 10, 2025 → Selected remix release / official publication
  

11. Acceptance of the Rules

Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of these rules.

Important: Remixes must only be uploaded to SoundCloud. Uploading to other platforms such as (but not limited to) Spotify, Apple Music, or Beatport will result in disqualification.

• È consentito aggiungere suoni originali, ma devono restare riconoscibili elementi del brano originale.

• Tutti i remix potranno essere pubblicati nelle pagine dei rispettivi artisti a partire dalla data 10/11/2025:

7. Giuria e Selezione

• Una giuria composta da membri di Tikal Records, OQP Crew, Olstad Sound e OBY ONE valuterà i remix in base a:
  
  • Originalità e creatività
    
  • Qualità della produzione e del mix
    
  • Connessione con lo spirito del brano
    
• Inoltre ci sarà un Premio Speciale del Pubblico, deciso dal numero di like ricevuti sui rispettivi SoundCloud degli artisti.
  

8. Premi & Incentivi

Vincitore 1

• Pubblicazione di un nuovo brano su vinyl con Tikal Sound Records (se la qualità sarà ritenuta idonea dalla giuria e previo accordo sui diritti).

9. Proprietà Intellettuale

• Tutti i remix restano di proprietà dei rispettivi autori.
  
• Con la partecipazione, l’artista concede a OBY ONE, Tikal Sound Records e Olstad Sound il diritto non esclusivo di pubblicare, promuovere e distribuire i remix inviati come parte del contest.
  

10. Timeline

• [10 Ottobre 2025] → Apertura contest + rilascio Remix Pack
  
• [20 Novemre 2025] → Deadline invio remix
  
• [1 Dicembre 2025] → Annuncio vincitori
  
• [10 Dicembre] → Pubblicazione remix selezionati / uscita ufficiale
  

11. Accettazione del Regolamento

La partecipazione al contest implica l’accettazione integrale del presente regolamento.

Importante: I remix devono essere caricati solo su SoundCloud. Caricamento su altre piattaforme come ma non limitate a Spotify, Apple Music o Beatport porterà alla squalifica.
